A new way to think about all your ideas (that actually works)

You know that feeling when someone asks what you like to do… and you pause?

Because how do you explain that you're into quantum physics and sourdough starters and the latest AI tools and investment strategy deep-dives?

If you're reading this, chances are you're the one in your friend group who can talk about almost anything. And somewhere along the way, you may have wondered:

Shouldn't I be more focused? More specialized? More...normal?

If that sounds familiar, you might be what I call an Omni.

Multi-passionate. Multi-skilled. Mentally nomadic. We think in connections, not categories.

(You might have heard terms like “scanner” from Barbara Sher or “multipotentialite” from Emilie Wapnick. I prefer Omni because it captures how we see the world...as one big, interconnected web of ideas.)

Why We Struggle with Traditional Advice

People like us don’t fit easily into corporate boxes or online business blueprints that say you must “pick a niche.”

We love to learn. We’re creative by default. And we lose interest fast when we’re told to do the same thing over and over.

But the problem isn’t having too many passions.

The real problem is trying to build a business using a system that wasn’t made for how your brain works.

And that’s why so many Omnis struggle to create sustainable businesses.

Not because they’re flaky.
Not because they’re lazy.
But because the rules don’t fit.

Why Omnis Are Built for the Future

Here’s the good news: you’re not behind; you’re right on time!

Now that we have AI tools and workflow automation, it’s finally possible to build businesses that are flexible enough for people like us.

  • While others stay in their lane, you can connect the dots across industries.
  • While they focus on one skill, you can create multiple revenue streams.
  • While they fear change, you’re already three steps ahead.

Sound like you?

🧪 The Real Omni Test

Are you truly an Omni—or just overwhelmed by modern life?

Try this simple thought exercise:

  1. List all the things that genuinely interest you.
  2. Notice how some fascinations pass quickly, while others stick.
  3. Highlight the ones you would actually build a business around.
    (It’s probably less than 10.)
  4. Group them into themes. See if 3–4 interests naturally cluster.
  5. Then ask AI to help with this prompt:
“I have these interests and potential business ideas: [list yours]. Help me identify natural groupings and connections between them. Show me how these could work together as complementary projects within one overarching business model, especially for an entrepreneur who wants location independence.”

What comes back should excite you! Eliminating distractions helps us all.

🛠 The 90-Day Framework That Changed Everything

Whether you're an Omni or just someone struggling to follow through, here's the structure that helped me finally gain momentum:

👉 90-day projects.

Not goals. Not vague intentions. Projects with start and finish lines.

Why 90 days?

  • It's long enough to launch something real (a product, a summit, a YouTube channel).
  • Short enough to maintain focus, before your Omni brain wants to chase something else.

For people like us, that timeline is magic.
It offers direction and variety.
Focus without burnout.

And most importantly, it helps you prove something to yourself:

You can finish.
You can build.
You can thrive your way.

Let’s Put It Into Action

Here’s my challenge for you:

🎯 Pick one needle-moving project.
🗓 Give it 90 days.
💥 See what happens.

This could involve launching a product, writing a book, starting a newsletter, or establishing a consistent content schedule.

Each completed project builds momentum.
Each success makes the next one easier.

I'd Love to Hear From You

👉 Does this resonate with you?
👉 Are you an Omni—or just overwhelmed by choices?
👉 What’s your next 90-day project?

Hit reply and tell me. I read every message, and your story helps shape what I create next.

Until next week,

Tanya

P.S. After you try the AI prompt above, let me know what it reveals. Sometimes we’re too close to our own ideas to see the magic in the combinations.

Hey Reader, A few winters ago, we were skiing in Breckenridge when I noticed a boy in a beginner class on the bunny slope. Somehow, instead of properly taking a seat at the bottom, he grabbed the t-bar with one hand. Wide-eyed and panicked, he held on and screamed, "Help me!" over and over as it dragged him uphill. His instructor didn't rush to rescue him. Instead, in the most deadpan voice, she shouted back: "Let go!" That's it. The solution: let go. I think about that moment often,...

Last Tuesday, I sat staring at my phone at 11:47 PM, watching a conversation unfold. A potential lead had just kicked off an automated SMS demo on my website. Instead of waiting until morning for my response, they were having a full conversation with my AI agent. They got to give the tech a spin, test how the agent could qualify their customers, and book a call with me. You can Try the Demo Bot Here to see exactly how it works. This SMS conversation happened on their schedule, in their...
